ABOUT ANGELA SONG
Angela Song is a 17-year-old senior at Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale, NJ. Ever since she was younger, she has participated in her school choir and church choir. In high school, she has participated in honor choirs as a Soprano I such as the Bergen County Choir and the NJ All State Treble Choir and Mixed Choir. Moreover, she practices classical and theater songs and has placed in various music competitions, obtaining the opportunity to perform at venues such as Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, and Carnegie Hall. Most importantly, she has a fervent passion in advocating for equal human rights for all regardless of race, gender, sexuality, etc and appreciating other cultures and does exactly so in her high school's Human Rights League, World Cultures Club, and District Equity Team. Recently, she has helped organize and manage local protests in her community such as the peaceful BLM protest at district high schools (the names and ages of victims of racial profiling and police brutality were written on the pavement and commemorated) and the "Racial Equity Rally" in Woodcliff Lake, NJ (townspeople marched throughout the town and listened to guest speakers about the BLM movement).
