MISSION STATEMENT

Angela's purpose of creating "Power in Protest" is to not only vicariously relive historical experiences through song and impassioned emotions unable to be articulated through mere words, but also channel her inner passion for human rights and protest to produce a tribute album of old and recent protest songs. She endeavors to recreate the spirit of protest from previous eras and highlight their relevance to current issues, spreading awareness of such injustices and representing the voices of those unheard.
